Overview

Sarvesh Shashi, 27, started Sarva Yoga Studio at a single location in Chennai in 2016. By 2020, the wellness startup had more than 40 studios across five cities and $2 million in revenue. The wellness startup expanding across the world is on a mission to "connect seven billion breaths through yoga".

Problem Faced

To achieve the vision of connecting 7 billion breaths, Sarva needed to have an end to end digital platform to take the classes across the world. They could not expand across the world with physical centres especially with the advent of Covid-19. The platform Sarva already had faced problems in scaling to the vision set out for them.

Goal

To create an awesome, secure and scalable end to end platform for Yoga, Wellness, Meditation and Sleep. The platform should be built on the authentic foundations of Yoga and at the same time appeal to the dynamic world wide audience. The platform should be able to deliver tens of thousands of content seamlessly to millions of audience across the world.

Solution

MacAppStudio designed and developed an end to end wellness platform for Sarva with iOS, Android and Web apps for users, app for trainers and dashboard for administrators of the platform. The platform development was focussed on a great UI/UX design, performance, security and scalability. The platform was developed to be able to deliver tens of thousands of minutes of on-demand video content and hundreds of live content seamlessly to millions of users across the world. The app has a seamless onboarding process that helps users choose their purpose of using the app which in turn enables to provide personalised content for the users catering to their specific needs.

The platform also had an end to end role based access controlled web admin dashboard that provided advanced CMS that enabled content managers to manage the catalog and content seamlessly, finance managers to configure prices, generate reports and get KPIs, promotions team to review user analytics, sales funnels and reports and so much more.

Current Status

The platform was launched in Dec 2020 and is being used by over a million people all over the world. The platform is serving tens of thousands of minutes of on demand video content as well as hundreds of live courses. The trainers are able to provide live classes, manage schedules and view reports in their respective dashboards. The administrative team of Sarva is able to manage everything from a role based access controlled control centre from content management, presentation, banner management, courses, pricing to reports and usage analytics.
