Overview

Dr. Krishna Raman MBBS, FCCP has been practising yoga since the age of 14 years. A graduate in Medicine from Madras Medical College, Chennai, he furthered his study in the clinical potential of yoga and its application in main stream medicine. He runs MediYoga Clinic in Adayar, Chennai and has treated thousands of patients.

Problem Faced

The patient management, appointment booking, prescription and follow up process in Mediyoga Clinic is all done manually. This leads to a lot of effort and time wastage in addition to unavailability of medical records in a timely manner for consultation. Dr. Krishna Raman’s vision is to digitally transform the entire patient management, prescription and follow up in his clinic to make it a simple, seamless and automated process.

Goal

To create an end to end online platform to manage patient booking, consultation, prescription, manage medical records, follow up, exercise videos and patient chat in the Mediyoga clinic. The platform should be built to be used on Apple products like iPad + Apple Pencil, iPhone and Air Print for Prescription with a compatible printer.

Solution

MacAppStudio developed the end to end platform as envisioned for Doctors, Front office personal and patients . The patients can book appointments, fill a pre-visit check list, review their medical records, view exercise videos chat with Doctors all in the app. The Doctor can view the patient history, past medications, provide consultation and provide a prescription all with and iPad and Apple Pencil and print the prescription using air print. The front office personnel manages the appointments, walk-ins, payments and other administrative activities.

The end to end platform is deployed in Mediyoga clinic and is fine-tuned for perfection in the patient booking and consultation process flow. This solution digitally transforms the end to end process flow of the Mediyoga clinic with the industry and technology best practices and creates a world’s first use case of this nature.
