Overview

Znap App was started in Dubai by Inquest Technologies FZE founded by Uday Rathod. The major vision of the app was to become the #1 cashback app in UAE, service all the major stores in the country and provide customers with a simple and seamless cashback experience.

Problem Faced

Though several chains across UAE has cashback and offer coupons, all of them were paper based and users had to keep them while they went to store. The users had to manually check for stores offering cashbacks and the products which were in the offer. They had to track the expiry dates also manually. Overall the cashback experience was not simple and seamless.

Goal

To create an end to end digital cashback delivery and redemption platform to cover all major stores and all users in UAE. The platform should list all cashback offering stores and the products in offer. The customers should be able to redeem the offers seamlessly and get the cashback in their digital wallet. There should be and admin dashboard to control the end to end operations and cashback management.

Solution

MacAppStudio designed and developed an simple, seamlessly and world class cashback platfrom for Znap. The customers had a awesome mobile app in both iOS and Android using which they can do the end to end cashback management in just three steps : Buy > Click > Redeem. All they do is go shopping in the stores and select the products with cashback in the app and upload a bill photo via the app itself. The system will review the bill and products in cashback and automatically credit the cashback to the user’s wallet. Once the wallet amount reaches a threshold the user can redeem the cashback to their bank account directly. The platform also provides a dashboard to the stores to add products for cashback and also and admin dashboard to manage the entire system.

Current Status

The platform was launched in June 2015 and is currently managing millions of users and hundreds of stores in UAE poising to become the #1 Cash back app in the UAE. Users regularly use the app because it provides a lot of savings on their shoppings and also they don’t need to carry any physical coupons. Stores add a lot of products with cash back because they attract a lot of users to the stores. Overall Znap has revolutionised the cash back industry in UAE and is expanding across the world.
