Overview

MaidPro was started in Boston when one of its founders, Mark Kushinsky, called a maid service to clean his home. Shocked by how high prices were, but wanting to regain valuable free time, Mark arrived home the day of the cleaning eager to see the results. The results were less than impressive. Mark shared his experiences with close friend Richard Sparacio. That’s when they decided to come up with a solution for this problem, and MaidPro was born. Since starting off in a 200-square-foot office in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill in 1991, MaidPro has quickly grown to more than 150 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Problem Faced

MaidPro did not have a mechanism to manage their Pros (agents), their work allocations, work-related updates, and location tracking. This was crucial for MaidPro since most of their Pros are traveling and at customer locations, the information sharing had to be seamless.

Goal

To create a world-class app for the MaidPro agents using which they will be able to view their work allocations for the day, get routes to the locations, start, and stop the jobs and get regular updates from MaidPro and customers on updates. This app in turn would provide a lot of information on the work updates to MaidPro which will be provided to the customers. The apps need to seamlessly connect to the SalesForce back-end platform of MaidPro via APIs.

Solution

MacAppStudio designed and developed an awesome MaidPro app for the use of the cleaning agents of MaidPro. The agents now had a quick and easy way to see all the work allocated for them on a day, get the location, get routes to the location, take actions like start and stop of the job, get customer preferences and other updates from MaidPro seamlessly via the app. MaidPro can also track their entire work force and get real-time updates on work from the pros. There are several business-critical features like geofencing which enables Pros to start the job only when they reach the location, tamper-proof time tracking, real-time SalesForce integration, and offline sync in case there is no internet.

Current Status

The platform was launched in June 2019 and is currently managing thousands of MaidPro agents daily providing them with accurate and real-time job information, helping Pros with location tracking, job card time tracking, and other updates from MaidPro. MaidPro also gets a host of benefits like real-time tracking of Pros, Job status, and location updates. This ensures that more work is getting done with higher quality leading to huge customer satisfaction.
